General Candle Safety

Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Always blow out your candles before leaving a room or heading to bed.

Keep candles away from anything flammable.

Place them at least 12 inches from curtains, papers, plants, or decorations.

Choose the right spot.

Set candles on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from drafts, fans, or vents. This prevents uneven burning and reduces fire risk.

Make sure candles are in a secure area where curious hands or paws can’t reach.

Trim your wick.

Before lighting, trim it to about ¼ inch to avoid high flames and soot buildup.

Melt wax in UL-listed or certified warmers, never on stovetops, ovens, or microwaves.

Never leave your warmer unattended, especially around little ones.

Avoid contact with hot wax.

Mixing water with hot wax can cause splattering or burns.

Emergency Tips

If a candle or wax fire starts, smother it with a lid or use a fire extinguisher, never water.

If hot wax touches your skin, rinse under cool running water and seek medical help if needed.

Storage and Disposal

Store candles and wax melts in a cool, dry place away from sunlight or heat to preserve scent and quality.

Once finished, let wax harden before disposal. Never pour melted wax down drains, as it can cause clogs
